Reception Site Bargaining? - outdoor bar table
The location of the reception I'm looking forward to two possible locations have rooms on each side of the property. Room 1 is kept very small, and that 150 people - but it is super hard, and the dance floor is not visible to everyone. The prospect is not so great either.
Room 2 is fabulous. Views breathtaking. A terrace advantage for us. A huge room very nicely decorated. However, you must be over 150 guests.
I am just planning to call 140, but do not want to be in the other room. Someone suggested that I buy more disks, just to be able to use the bathroom. This seems such a waste of money.
I've heard from various sources that "minimumn" has little to with the number of people who do / food they have, but more to do with the money you spend. I would like to pay in cash the equivalent of 10 meals in exchange for a better table or dessert.
What do people think? Have you had prior to this.

Discuss with the coordinators and see what they do for you. It hurts to ask, nothing ventured, nothing gained nothing!
Good luck, and I negotiated and where we have a lot to our reception.
Congratulations on your upcoming wedding!
The minimum is that the hotel is the minimum requirements, which occur, for the use of the hall. Otherwise, you have the difference. The minimum is the least ..... is likely much more than they think. No tax and service. All in a hotel is + + (plus) Plus, which is (more taxes, plus 21% service or what means service) in your town. They have only said that food prices will add to the + +. Everything you want from the hotel there is a fee and will be + +. Remember. Do not have an open bar. You might end up costing $ 15,000 if your desired score top shelf. Ask the hotel if you can buy 3 kegs of beer and 25 bottles of wine and drinks, are free from their hosts. Otherwise, it will be a cash bar. You are not allowed to bring your own beer and wine. The beer is expected to be about $ 300 + + per barrel. Sit down with the director of catering at the hotel and get all the answers. If you invite 140, then you probably have around 100 currently.
Talk to your webmaster. It is possible that if you say you get the dessert table or block the extravagant, are sufficient to allow you to use the hall.
And the worst thing that could be said, perhaps not. Give it a shot.
I like your idea. Questions and to discover the city. The worst they can say is no.
It is very unpleasant, packed in the activity of the flat. But the 140 does not seem likely: They can be between 80 - 90% turnout (112 - 126ish). However, it is likely that in order to avoid space 1, unless you're willing to significantly reduce the guest list.
